Dr. Nakul Chandra is a physician with over five decades of medical experience, specializing in pediatric cardiology and preventive health.
He graduated from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, in 1961, and completed postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, earning DCH (Glasgow), DCH (London), MRCP (Glasgow), and MRCP (Edinburgh). Since 1971, he has been practicing in the United States, currently working at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey.
Dr. Chandra’s passion is preventing and reversing chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease through lifestyle changes, particularly a high-fiber diet and eating once a day (OMAD). His work also explores innovative treatments for cancer, dementia prevention, and the benefits of Vipassana meditation.
He is the author of Diabetes and Cancer Prevention to Reversal: Vipassana to Joy and has produced educational videos in English and Hindi to help people take control of their health naturally.
Dr. Chandra is also actively involved in charitable work through the Children’s Health and Welfare Foundation (USA) and RGS Trust (India), which operates a hospital and is establishing an educational facility for underprivileged students.
